The Big Tree Registry is a fun informal way to celebrate the biggest, oldest and most historical trees in Brazoria County!

Many species, including both native and cultivated woody plants, are being considered. Please enjoy the current List of Champions or List of Historical Trees for the county.

For some years, the Texas Forest Service has maintained a Big Tree Registry for the state. We have created a county nomination form. If you know of a tree that might be the largest for Brazoria County, please estimate the tree’s dimensions, then fill out this form and submit it. If interested, detailed Registry Rules & Measuring Procedures are also available.
