Septic System Maintenance Workshop

February 7, 2019 (Angleton, TX) – The Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service and the Friends of the River San Bernard are offering a free educational event on septic system maintenance in February for Brazoria County homeowners.
The program is from 10:00 am – noon February 16th at the Friends of the San Bernard Community Center, 20450 CR 510B, in Brazoria.
Workshop presenters will be provided with a basic understanding of the operational and maintenance activities of a septic system and explain how activities with in the home impact septic systems. Presentations will cover treatment processes in septic systems and aerobic treatment units, health and safety considerations, how to take care for and feed the system, and general maintenance procedures. The program will not certify Brazoria County residents to maintain their own aerobic treatment unit.
