Brazoria County’s Agricultural and Natural Resources Extension Agent provides consultation and educational programs in the areas of livestock, crops, weed/brush management, grazing & forage production, and hurricane preparedness.

The agent also provides certification training  for the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) Private Pesticide Applicator License.  A number of re-certification opportunities (CEU credits) are also made available through the Brazoria County Extension Office for TDA license holders.

The Urban Rancher Small Acreage Landowner Education Series is made available to landowners throughout the year .  These classes and workshops are designed to share knowledge and educate the small acreage land owner with keys for success when starting and running your small farm, ranch or agriculture business.

Feral Hogs are a major concern in Brazoria County for our Farmers and Ranchers.
